CHARITY

An especially important aspect of my life has been and continues to be, charitable

service. I feel a strong commitment to supporting organizations or individuals dedicated

to helping others.

 

My involvement has been diverse, ranging from leading significant

projects like the 9 Kelly Silverstein Golf Tournaments, which supported both PMHF

(leukemia research) and MLSE in the construction of the Kelly Silverstein Memorial

Basketball Court at the Regent Park Athletic Grounds. Additionally, I have managed the

Michael Cundari Memorial Fund for the past 25 years. 

 

As a part of the Michael Cundari Memorial Fund, I've also spent 25 years organizing a football and basketball pool where 25% of the entrance fees contribute to charities nominated by our group of players. Over the years, we have supported various causes, including an Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand (a passion of Mike’s), the Burnaby BC Christmas drive for a decade, various sports programs in the GTA, Backpack for

Kids initiatives in Collingwood and Milton, psychotherapy for urgent cases where funds were lacking, and numerous other grassroots causes.

 

With every mortgage fee I earn, I pledge to donate 10% of my net profits to charity.

 

Recognizing the multitude of worthy causes, I am eager to contribute wherever possible. Understanding the significance of supporting organizations striving to create a better world, I wish to involve my clients in this endeavor. Therefore, I extend to you the opportunity to select the charity to which the donation will be directed.
